John W. Lee, Jr.

Mr. Lee directs the multi-family and hospitality divisions of the company. He has an extensive background in property management, site location, financial analysis, market feasibility and construction. Mr. Lee earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Georgia in 1985. Prior to joining Southeastern, he was a real estate executive who worked with various Multi-Family REITS. During this time, Mr. Lee served as Senior Vice President of Merry Land Properties, Inc. and its successor companies. These successor companies resulted from mergers and included Merry Land & Investment Co., Inc., Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Inc., and Colonial Properties Trust, Inc. Mr. Lee was responsible for the financial and operational management of more than 40 multi-family apartment communities (approximately 15,000 apartment units) throughout the Southeast.
