Business is Good at Carolina Beach’s Newest Oceanfront Hotel
CAROLINA BEACH — Within just a few months of opening, Hampton Inn & Suites Carolina Beach Oceanfront, the town’s second major hotel, is gaining steady traction. Not only is this new hotel employing three dozen people from the surrounding community, but has become another choice of stay for area visitors from North Carolina and around the country who choose Carolina Beach as their destination.
The hotel held its grand opening celebration on November 15th, but the hotel officially opened its doors to guests Labor Day weekend. Despite coming in right at the end of the summer season, the hotel has sold out all 100 rooms almost every weekend, according to Lance Fischer, general manager.
Hampton Inn & Suites Carolina Beach Oceanfront is currently extending their boardwalk, which will provide even more business as part of the Carolina Beach community. With the hotel’s outside Tiki Bar open to guests and the general public, the boardwalk will eventually provide beach-goers and those walking the boardwalk with easy access to another area watering hole.
Hampton Inn is proudly giving back to the community too. Most recently, they have helped the town by opening its doors to help during a time of need, providing complimentary rooms for emergency response during Hurricane Matthew’s impact along North Carolina’s coast in early October.
Now in the off-season, the hotel continues to look forward to a bright future ahead.
